Welcome to Murph's Bistro!

Located in Butlersbridge, just outside Cavan Town at the famous Derragarra Inn, Murph's Bistro is an award winning, family run gastro bar. Why not come in for a truly enjoyable dining experience with quality food, friendly service, or just unwind with a relaxing drink, all in the beautiful Cavan countryside, in the village of Butlersbridge.

Murph's is operated by Chef and Proprietor Fergus Murphy who has worked in some of the best kitchens and with some of the best chefs in the world. We serve locally sourced quality Irish food with a selection of wines at an affordable cost. We're a winner of the prestigious Irish Restaurant Awards five times between 2010 to 2016.

Myself and my husband have always enjoyed dining in Murph's Bistro and we did so again last night with with my family our first since it reopened. We had a choice of a set Christmas menus and à la carte. Both looked amazing with the set menu excellent value.

My friend and I booked a meal here on Friday evening past, from the moment we arrived in the door we were greeted and looked after immediately by the friendly staff. The surroundings are comfortable, cosy and very fresh. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive. Good value for money. We will certainly be going back.
